TESTIMONIALS

  • Since the day we arrived in the country she has been a reliable friend to us.

She took Johan in on his first holiday, and he enjoyed every moment of the outdoors, play and everything he learned from her.

She is a person of caring and calmness who absolutely loves the job I would think of her more of a friend who my son trusts.

She truly lives out her passion for our kids and I would definitely recommend her to take care of your children.

  • We were delighted to have such a vibrant and enthusiastic care provider look after our son in a home based setting for this period. The special attention that went into nature programs and exposing the children to life experiences they would not have achieved in a daycare setting was especially humbling for us.

The materials they played with: toys carefully picked out, home-made, non-toxic paints, role-play accessories and other sensory materials, including exposure to cultural activities and awareness created a safe and satisfying play base for children on a regular basis.

We were updated via a secure Facebook platform, messenger and text on how our children were progressing and what they were learning each week with photos and stories alongside.

  • Dominic started daycare with Veronica when he was two years old. He’s now four years old – so he’s spent half his life in Veronica’s care. It’s safe to say Veronica has been a hugely positive influence in Dominic’s life, learning and confidence. The children learn many skills from Veronica and gain confidence through appropriate risk-taking, gender neutral play and hands-on activities. We have been so happy with the level of attention Veronica gives Dominic, she has nurtured his interests and introduced him to many different experiences and environments. I have recommended Veronica to many parents that I’m friends with, because I truly believe she has been the best person for Dom to be with and learn from.  Homebased daycare has been a second family to Dominic, we are only moving because Dominic is ready to go to Kindy and it will give him the opportunity for the next year to meet children that will attend his school when he turns five, which will hopefully make the transition to school easier. We will miss Veronica very much, and I’ll always be grateful for the love and care she shows all the children in her supervision.

  • Veronica has been providing childcare for my daughter for a period of 1 year.

In this time, I have found Veronica to be a caring supportive person who is able to build strong rapport with the children in her care. Veronica is creative and provides age appropriate activities and challenges for my daughter.

She is always welcoming, sensitive and attentive to any specific needs. As well as home-based activities Veronica has provided opportunities to connect with nature and explore the local environment.

My daughter is always excited when she is dropped off and content when I return to pick her up.

I have no hesitation in recommending Veronica for a position of childcare.

  • While under Veronica’s care, my daughter Mia has flourished and come out of her shell somewhat. She has been encouraged to make friends of the opposite sex and different ages which help her tremendously once in school.

She has been taught to expand her imagination and creativity whilst developing her fine motor skills. I would highly recommend Veronica as a child carer.

  • Veronica has been looking after my son Braxton for a few months. He is always happy to be dropped at her place and has a great sense of belonging.

Veronica always has fun activities for the children in her care, including painting, exploring and trips to nature outings.

We will miss Veronica caring for our son, and I would happily have Veronica look after my son if the occasion arose.

All the best for the future.

I’m sure we will cross paths again.

  • Veronica van der Loo has been an educator for my granddaughter Breeayna for almost a year. When Breeayna first started, she was a shy, boisterous little girl whose favourite word was “mine”. Within weeks, Veronica’s gentle, loving affinity with children won her over, and she settled into a loving, sharing environment.

Veronica follows a natural philosophy of teaching through nature and play. Everyday Breeayna is blossoming and learning while being able to get mucky, explore and play outside – the perfect environment.

I am so happy to send Breeayna to someone who cares for her as much as I do myself.

I totally recommend Veronica to any parent wanting their child to learn and be loved in a loving, fun home environment.

  • I am writing this letter on behalf of Veronica van der Loo for her portfolio. I as a parent am impressed with the care, she provides for my 2 boys that she has in her care over 30 hours a week. She does great learning, fun play with them, gives awesome support to my son who is having learning difficulties. Lovely nature and my sons adore her so much they are comfortable going every time. She does amazing stuff with them. She has always accommodated me to suit my needs of care and hours also.

Very amazing lady and would happily put my babies in with her again, totally recommended.

  • If anyone is looking for childcare, please don’t look any further than Veronica van der Loo. I have worked alongside her through a few homebased education companies and she’s amazing and gives 100% of her time and attention to our Tamariki. If any of my whanau and friends in the Whangarei area are interested, please feel free to contact her directly.

  • Me and my whanau/Tamariki have been with Veronica for almost 4+ years. Saje-Marie turning 6 in November started with Veronica at 2 and a half years old. Saje took to Veronica like a house on fire lol which made the transition so easy for all of us. My younger son, Kaiyen, who has recently turned 5 last month and also started at 2 and a half, adores her and gets grumpy if or when he can’t attend, he wakes excitedly to start and go. Their younger sister Tearyus Reign now 3 turning 4 in Dec. also in Veronica’s care, had no issues with settling in and loves her just as much if not more. It’s safe to say my pepi love her and she loves them she keeps me updated and reassured that they are fine/ok if they leave home grumpy or upset which is fabulous. I highly recommend her.

  • Hey friends in Whangarei.

Often, people ask me who and where, when I tell them that Theo is in such a wonderful home based daycare where just some of the most amazing, organic things they do:

    1.        Make & play with nontoxic homemade paints

    2.        Gardening and planting, learning life skills

    3.        Beach and forest walks learning about our ocean life, fauna and flora

    4.        Reading and learning to draw and navigate their hands in creative ways

    5.        Water play, mud play too

Truly, this woman is amazing. No two days are the same, she is super flexible, easy going and a real gentle soul.
